At Destiny Project, our purpose is to provide pathways to restoration and reintegration for young women who have survived human trafficking and abuse. Since 2014, we’ve been serving individuals on the streets of San José, Costa Rica, offering compassion, support, and a safe space to heal. As we witnessed the profound struggles these survivors faced when they turned 18 and had to leave the sanctuaries that cared for them, we recognized the need for a comprehensive program that helps young women navigate the challenges of independence and recovery.

Our mission is to empower these women, aged 18-25, by providing them with the tools they need to rebuild their lives. Through individualized care plans, we focus on their spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical well-being, as well as education, life skills, and career development. With a dedicated team of professionals and mentors, we create a nurturing community that helps these young women regain their independence and find their purpose.

At Destiny Project, we are committed to walking alongside these survivors on their journey of recovery, rejuvenation, rebuilding, restoration, and reintegration. Our vision is to interrupt the cycle of abuse and offer them a new destiny—one filled with freedom, independence, and empowerment.
